2023 TXTT Championship Location Announced

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (February 14, 2023) – The Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Texas Team Trail presented by Progressive is excited to announce Choke Canyon Reservoir as the host location for the top 75 qualifying teams to compete in the 2023 Texas Team Trail Championship tournament. This grand finale of the season will take place June 3-4, 2023, with official practice being two days before the event.
“Choke Canyon is iconic when it comes to big fish,” said Tournament Director Mike Hastings. “We’ve had past championship events on the lake, and the catches have been phenomenal. That time of the year the grass is generally in great shape for the shallow water anglers and the teams that target offshore structure can find plenty to target on this body of water.”
The 75 teams that qualify for the championship will also be in the hunt to win the 2023 Texas Team Trail Team of the Year title and prize. With the championship scoring worth double points, the duo crowned “Team of the Year” will walk away with a Ranger Bass Boat package powered by a Mercury Outboard. Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 teams based on final point standings for the season.
