NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. (February 17, 2020) – The Texas Team Trail (TXTT) presented by Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s adds American Fishing Tackle Company (AFTCO) to their dedicated list of sponsors for the upcoming 2020 TXTT season. The season is set to begin on famed Sam Rayburn Reservoir on February 22, 2020.
“AFTCO prides themselves on making the best products available for anglers,” said TXTT Tournament Director Mike Hastings. “Many of our TXTT anglers use AFTCO gear and accessories to help give them an edge during competition. This is a great opportunity for AFTCO to get in front of some of the hottest bass sticks. We look forward to a great season this year with AFTCO.”
AFTCO began in 1958 and is a 3rd generation family owned company dedicated to making the best quality fishing equipment and apparel while promoting conservation. The driving principle behind AFTCO’s growth has always been a passion for conservation. AFTCO donates 10% of their sales to directly support conservation initiatives across the country and looks forward to bringing those initiatives to the TXTT.
“The Texas Team Trail gives working anglers a budget-friendly platform to test their skills against some of the best anglers in Texas and surrounding states,” said Casey Shedd, AFTCO president. “We pride ourselves on being a family owned company and look forward to working with the anglers of TXTT in 2020. We look forward to expanding our conservation efforts while interacting with these great anglers.”
